Splitting Borders Archive No.'s 51 to 75
When I look
through strips no. 51 to 75 I feel Gary and I were playing around, using our
real world experiences as direct inspiration. Some strips were lifted straight
from our weekly escapades. We could see possibilities for short stories in all
that we did, mining the core of the experiences to find the centre from which
to draw the humour, pathos and observational qualities. This different view of
our lives has drawn many comments from people who know us, or thought they knew
us before encountering this slant-eyed view of our lives.
